Me: "Yes you can. I've watched you read it before."
Child: "Well that day my brain was working."
Me: "Oh stop it. Just try! You don't ever want to give up when it comes to reading."

Me: "See! You did it!"
Child: "No way Miss Counts. I feel like I'm reading African words."
